Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

Net Profit: Gross revenue minus cost of sales and operating costs for the selected date range.

Net Profit Prior: Gross revenue minus cost of sales and operating costs for selected prior data range (Year over Year or Trailing Months).

Net Profit Percentage of Change: Percentage of change in Net Profit for the selected date range.

BM Net Profit: Average Gross revenue minus cost of sales and operating costs for the current selected date range for all qualified Business Insights subscribers.

 

Gross Margin: Total sales revenue minus cost of goods sold, divided by total sales for selected data range.

Gross Margin Prior: Total sales revenue minus cost of goods sold, divided by total sales revenue for selected prior data range (Year over Year or Trailing Months).

Gross Margin Percentage of Change: Percentage of change in Gross Margin for the selected date range.

BM Gross Margin: Average Gross Margin for all qualified Business Insights subscribers for the current selected date range.

 

Expenses: Reported expenses for current data range.

Prior Period Expenses: Reported expenses for the prior date range (Year over Year or Trailing Months).

Expenses percentage of Change: Percentage of change in Expenses for the selected date range.

Benchmark Expenses: Average reported expenses for the current selected date range for all qualified Business Insights subscribers.

Charts

Net Profit % by Period: The Net Profit percent by period for each month is displayed by a blue and brown indicator line/dot. Hovering over either visual for the respective months gross margin will display the gross margin for the current period (blue) or prior period (brown).

Gross Margin by Period: The gross margin for each month is displayed by a blue and brown indicator line/dot. Hovering over either visual for the respective months gross margin will display the gross margin for the current period (blue) or prior period (brown).

Expenses by Period: The total expense for each month is displayed by a blue and brown indicator line/dot. Hovering over either visual for the respective months expenses margin will display the expenses for the current period (blue) or prior period (brown).
