Primary Product Unit Averages

Premium Dashboard

This dashboard provides an overview of your unit sell price, cost, and gross margin averages for all Primary Products with a square foot unit of measure.  These consist of typical flooring products: Carpet, Cushion, LVT, Wood, Tile, VCT, Vinyl and Laminate sold by the square foot (BI converts Square Yard unit of measure to Square Foot for comparison purposes).  All other products are considered Non-Primary and are not displayed on this dashboard.

The Material and Labor check boxes allow you to view Material only, Labor only or both by selecting the appropriate check boxes.  Material is selected by default. 

Material: Primary product only no labor

Labor: Primary product labor no material

You have the option to select both check-boxes to evaluate your primary product performance.

Charts

Average SF Unit Sell Price by Product Category: Average SF unit price displayed by primary product for the  selected date range with a blue column, the prior period is displayed with a brown column and the benchmark is displayed by the orange indicator dot.  Hovering over the visuals will display the average sales revenue for that product category.

Average SF Unit Cost by Product Category: Average SF unit cost displayed by primary product for the selected date range with a blue column, the prior period is displayed with a brown column and the benchmark is displayed by the orange indicator dot.  Hovering over the visuals in the will display the average unit cost for that product category.

Gross Margin by Product Category: Gross margin by product category is displayed for the selected date  range with a blue column, the prior period is displayed with a brown column and the benchmark is displayed by the orange indicator dot.  Hovering the visuals will display the gross margin percentage by product category.
